INMA anuncia los finalistas de los Global Media Awards 2025

INMA anunció los 199 finalistas de los Global Media Awards 2025. La competencia recibió 839 postulaciones de 286 marcas de medios en 49 países. Los ganadores serán anunciados el 22 de mayo en Nueva York, en el marco del INMA World Congress of News Media.

INMA anunció los 199 finalistas de los Global Media Awards 2025. Entre los temas centrales de esta edición destacan el uso de inteligencia artificial en la innovación en redacciones y suscripciones, la investigación de hechos y la búsqueda de la verdad, campañas en favor del bien público, la captación de nuevas audiencias, deportes, salud y el compromiso con los usuarios.

La competencia recibió 839 postulaciones de 286 marcas de medios en 49 países, con finalistas provenientes de África, Asia-Pacífico, Europa, América Latina, América del Norte y el sur de Asia.

Entre las empresas con más presencia en la lista de finalistas se encuentran Amedia, The Hindu, Hindustan Times, Mediahuis, News Corp, Ringier, Russmedia, SPH Media, Stuff, Schibsted y Stampen. Los países con mayor número de nominaciones incluyen India (22), Noruega (21), Estados Unidos (20), Alemania (17), Suecia (15), Australia (10) y Brasil (9).

En su 88ª edición, los Global Media Awards de INMA continúan reconociendo la excelencia en la industria de los medios de comunicación. La competencia abarca 20 categorías, divididas en dos segmentos: nacional/internacional y regional. Estas categorías premian la excelencia en marcas informativas, contenido multimedia, productos, suscripciones, publicidad y comercio, redacciones y el uso de inteligencia artificial.

En cada una de las 20 categorías se otorgará un primer, segundo y tercer lugar dentro de cada segmento. En algunos casos, el jurado puede optar por omitir premios o recomendar premios adicionales.

Los ganadores del primer lugar, los ganadores regionales y el mejor proyecto a nivel global (Best In Show) serán anunciados el 22 de mayo en el Edison Ballroom de Nueva York, como parte del INMA World Congress of News Media, que se llevará a cabo del 19 al 23 de mayo.

"Los Global Media Awards son una vitrina única de ideas innovadoras y proyectos disruptivos, que reflejan el camino que está siguiendo la industria de los medios para atraer nuevas audiencias, manteniéndolas informadas e inspiradas", expresó Earl J. Wilkinson, director ejecutivo y CEO de INMA.

"Las postulaciones de este año muestran cómo los medios están redefiniendo sus estrategias, posicionando sus marcas, conectando con audiencias diversas e innovando constantemente, sin perder de vista su esencia ni su compromiso con las comunidades a las que sirven. Desde INMA estamos orgullosos de los excepcionales finalistas de 2025 y esperamos celebrar a los ganadores en mayo en Nueva York".

Un panel de 60 expertos en medios de 26 países evaluó las postulaciones en febrero, calificando resultados innovadores, conceptos únicos, creatividad sobresaliente, pensamiento estratégico y sinergias efectivas entre plataformas.

Las 839 postulaciones de los Global Media Awards 2025 están disponibles en INMA.org dentro del archivo de Mejores Prácticas de la asociación. Los finalistas pueden ser consultados de forma pública, mientras que el resto de las postulaciones están reservadas exclusivamente para miembros de INMA.

INMA cuenta con más de 9,600 casos de estudio de la última década de los Global Media Awards, organizados por finalistas, ganadores, categorías, años y países, consolidándose como un recurso clave para la industria de medios.
